Born in Pasadena, California my early years were spent north of San Fernando Valley, where art was my passion. From the tender age of 4, I was enrolled in visual and performing arts. My mother had to strike a deal with the instructors and I was allowed into both classes at such a young age. I can recall not wanting to leave the classes when they were out because I was doing what I loved.
When I was 5 years old, my principal gave me a $2 bill. I was told to invest the money and attempt to make a profit to donate back to the school. I was so excited and couldn't wait to get home and start drawing to open up my own art shop. Once I created enough art to sell, my parents helped set me up with a table outside and signs, "ART FOR SALE". I had many customers, mostly neighbors but the experience was gratifying, inspiring, and rewarding. I felt my final accomplishment when I donated the funds back to my school. My story continues today.
